Free Fishing

Today was the one day a year where anyone can fish without a license. Since we like to take advantage of all FREE opportunities, we went fishing! Uncle Matt and Aunt Sarah joined us with their three kids. (Pretty convenient since their kids had spent the night.) Matt and Sarah suggested a great spot that was only minutes away and not crowded. Since Matt loves to fish, he let us bum off all his gear and helped make for a great morning. Everyone but Ruby caught a fish. (She was a little unsure of those smelly slimy things being pulled from the water.) For our boys, this was the first time they had actually ever caught something! With Matt's help, the kids were pulling fish out right and left. They threw a lot of them back in, but I think we came home with around 8 rainbow trout.
